Raquel Albarran (b. 1986) loves all things “cute and creepy,” including toes of various shapes and sizes, decapitations, hamburgers, tropical fruits, two-headed frogs, and babies smoking cigarettes. Her super saturated drawings make mortality look scrumptious. Raquel, who lives in Puerto Rico, was an artist-in-residence at Summertime in 2022 and had a solo exhibition called You Could Die at Any Age. See more Raquel here.
