Raquel Albarran (b. 1986) loves all things “cute and creepy,” including toes of various shapes and sizes, decapitations, hamburgers, tropical fruits, two-headed frogs, and babies smoking cigarettes. Her super saturated drawings make mortality look scrumptious. Raquel, who was born in Puerto Rico and now lives in New York, was an artist-in-residence at Summertime in 2022 and had a solo exhibition called You Could Die at Any Age. In 2025 she collaborated with artist Josephine Noel on the show Lick it to the Bone. See more Raquel here.
