Paige Donovan (b. 1991) makes landscapes and animal portraits from clusters of corresponding marks – dashes, zig-zags, and polka dots. Through amassing these simple strokes with acrylic paint and calligraphy pens, Paige renders real and imagined spaces infused with texture and spirit.
