Dietrich Sieling (b. 1988) is a Minneapolis-based artist whose drawings celebrate the unexpected beauty in refrigerator interiors and community pools. His punchy portraits are flat, happy, and otherworldly, depicting members of his community as Byzantine icons with matchstick teeth and looping nostrils.
