Heeeeeere’s Carlo. Hello everybody and welcome to The Carlo Daleo Show. Meep meep!

The Carlo Daleo Show highlights my life as an artist and my decades as a music fan and animator. The show takes place at Summertime Gallery at 145 Ainslie Street in Brooklyn, NY.

First of all, let me introduce myself. I am Carlo Daniel Daleo known in translation as Charlie Daniel Daleo and I am from Elmhurst, Queens. I was born on September 30th, a Saturday morning at 5:20am, in the year 1961 at City Hospital. I am now making my home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where I live. Summertime is also in Williamsburg and that’s convenient enough. That’s right!

I have an artist residency at Summertime and am enjoying working away from home very, very much. I am also an artist at the LAND program. At Summertime, I have been working on a 5 x 10 foot mural with the likes of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, Ray Charles, The Beatles, Tom Jones and so on. The mural also features myself and five cartoon characters of my own creation. First, the black haired and muscular woman from Houston, Texas who is also a librarian — Charlotte Blackstock — from the 1980s. Then, Angie Ritter, the Italian young lady from the 2000s, described as a cross between Angelica Pickles of Rugrats fame and Kelly Ripa of Disney ABC fame. My third female character is from the planet Selmar and so much different than most of us. Her name is Melissa Sue Heart. My next creation happens to be Melissa Sue’s alien feline. His name is Tweedles the Cat, who also has extraordinary powers. My fifth and final character is Melissa Sue’s alien canine. His name is Selmot the Wonder Dog and he does incredible things to save the lives of others.

I have also created a one hour radio broadcast (see below), in collaboration with Jenna Weiss-Berman of Pineapple Street Media. Come to Summertime to listen to my musical program of fun, nostalgia, rock ‘n’ roll, you name it! It features music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s from every famous artist with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elivs Presley, The Beatles and other stars like Ray Charles and so on. Classic themes and pieces like the NBC Peacock, The Bullwinkle Show, and the Road Runner going “beep beep” and “meep meep!” The world has been waiting for a DJ such as myself and I have come. Your waiting is over.

Come, relax and have a seat or get up and dance or whatever you want to do. This way you can get to know me better, discover my personality and talent, hear a new radio voice (yours truly), and discover new joys from decades of music.

Beep beep!
